Display & exhibtion artwork
With over 15 years experience working in the archaeology sector, and leading public outreach programmes. We offer design consultancy for travelling and temporary exhibitions, up-to full museum and gallery interiors.
Founded by husband and wife team, Peter and Rosalyn Lorimer. Pighill has for eight years provided interpretation artwork, graphics guides and walks for the archaeological and heritage sectors.
They met while both studying archaeological illustration at Swindon, and after graduation they moved to Oxford and spent the subsequent 10 years working in commercial archaeology. During this time they produced artwork and illustrated reports and monographs for clients diverse as The Highways Agency, The Duchy of Lancaster and Historic Royal Palaces.
As freelance illustrators and designers their work can be found in museums and heritage sites across the UK and Europe. Peter’s reconstructions have featured in dozens of publications and magazines.
With interests in folklore and nature they live in the Lincolnshire fens with their daughter and two dogs.
